Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.37% or 11.20 points to trade at 343.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.63% or 3.04 points to end at 189.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 1.49% or 4.20 points to 286.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.57% or 2.34 points to trade at 88.90 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 2.19% or 240.00 points to end at 10,700.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 2.06% or 16.40 points to 778.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 68 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.49% or 0.36 to $73.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.28% or 0.22 to hit $78.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 8.50 to trade at $2,033.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 103.90.
