Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 1.68% or 10.80 points to trade at 654.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.81% or 0.8 points to end at 97.4 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.81% or 2.2 points to 272.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.53% or 7.9 points to trade at 304.3 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.06% or 32.5 points to end at 1545.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 2.00% or 5.1 points to 249.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.56% or 0.33 to $58.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.84% or 0.54 to hit $63.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 7.15 to trade at $1475.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.01% to 6.7378, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4736.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 97.398.
