Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.16% or 11.4 points to trade at 539.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.01% or 190 points to end at 9630 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.83% or 165 points to 9160 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 7.08% or 5.02 points to trade at 65.86 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 3.97% or 9.7 points to end at 234.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.13% or 4.9 points to 429.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.08% or 5.02 to 65.86.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.65% or 1.01 to $62.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.40% or 0.91 to hit $66.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.50 to trade at $1313.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.0654, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4487.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 90.25.
