Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 2.89% or 23.50 points to trade at 837.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.22% or 19.00 points to end at 1,572.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.20% or 2.40 points to 201.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.81% or 190.00 points to trade at 10,335.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.67% or 170.00 points to end at 10,020.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.46% or 1.90 points to 128.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.53% or 1.10 to $70.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.51% or 1.15 to hit $74.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 33.65 to trade at $2,726.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 104.27.
