Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.70% or 5.90 points to trade at 94.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 2.86% or 12.00 points to end at 432.20 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 2.45% or 52.00 points to 2,178.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 8.13% or 1,700.00 points to trade at 19,220.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 8.00% or 1,680.00 points to end at 19,320.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 4.49% or 50.50 points to 1,073.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 66 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.52% or 1.81 to $121.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.68% or 2.03 to hit $122.60 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 9.35 to trade at $1,861.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 102.34.
