Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.32% or 25.30 points to trade at 787.10 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.08% or 410.00 points to end at 20,160.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.01% or 400.00 points to 20,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 1.47% or 4.20 points to trade at 282.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.25% or 5.40 points to end at 425.90 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.23% or 2.10 points to 168.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 62 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.19% or 0.21 to $109.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.16% or 0.18 to hit $110.87 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 17.70 to trade at $1,847.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 102.25.
