Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.11% or 3.8 points to trade at 345.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.85% or 5.2 points to end at 618.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.77% or 3.3 points to 432.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.32% or 9.4 points to trade at 395.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 2.23% or 12.0 points to end at 527.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 2.12% or 6.8 points to 313.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.40% or 0.25 to $62.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.18% or 0.12 to hit $66.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.10 to trade at $1317.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.0354, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 89.41.
