Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 1.77% or 14.0 points to trade at 807.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.51% or 3.8 points to end at 254.8 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 1.27% or 2.8 points to 224.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.76% or 3.0 points to trade at 103.9 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 2.59% or 2.7 points to end at 101.5 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was down 2.38% or 6.9 points to 283.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.77% or 14.0 to 807.0. Shares in Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.27% or 2.8 to 224.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.40% or 0.23 to $57.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.31% or 0.20 to hit $64.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.15 to trade at $1398.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.6600, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4639.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.107.
