Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.41% or 5.9 points to trade at 251.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.79% or 10.60 points to end at 603.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.72% or 15.6 points to 923.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 4.04% or 10.9 points to trade at 258.8 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.93% or 2.0 points to end at 104.2 and Genmab (CSE:GEN) was down 1.46% or 17.5 points to 1183.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 62 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.72% or 15.6 to 923.6.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.49% or 0.28 to $57.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.37% or 0.24 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 3.05 to trade at $1397.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.6531, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.963.
