Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 1.13% or 9.00 points to trade at 802.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.07% or 7.6 points to end at 717.4 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.88% or 3.3 points to 379.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.15% or 4.0 points to trade at 184.5 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 1.61% or 1.75 points to end at 107.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.33% or 5.0 points to 370.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 58 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; up 1.13% or 9.00 to 802.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.52% or 0.21 to $40.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.63% or 0.27 to hit $43.37 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 15.25 to trade at $1808.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.5968, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.763.
