Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 1.50% or 11.80 points to trade at 796.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.30% or 2.5 points to end at 195.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.28% or 8.8 points to 696.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.38% or 3.1 points to trade at 221.7 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.15% or 12.0 points to end at 1028.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 0.84% or 6.0 points to 705.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 61 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; up 1.50% or 11.80 to 796.80. Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.28% or 8.8 to 696.4.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.93% or 0.38 to $40.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.70% or 0.30 to hit $42.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 3.75 to trade at $1786.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.6281, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 97.175.
