Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 5.42% or 700 points to trade at 13620 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 2.56% or 16 points to end at 649 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 2.19% or 5.5 points to 256.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 5.44% or 124.0 points to trade at 2156.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 4.84% or 57.5 points to end at 1130.5 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 1.91% or 42 points to 2162.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 70 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.34% or 1.44 to $63.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.42% or 1.56 to hit $66.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 17.45 to trade at $1788.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.1344, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 90.338.
