Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.31% or 465.00 points to trade at 14,515.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.96% or 400.00 points to end at 13,900.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 2.63% or 32.00 points to 1,249.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 2.47% or 19.00 points to trade at 750.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 2.11% or 8.00 points to end at 370.70 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 1.20% or 11.00 points to 908.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 56 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.11% or 8.00 to 370.70.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.85% or 0.79 to $91.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.08% or 1.06 to hit $96.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.07% or 35.40 to trade at $1,673.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 7.67, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 113.14.
