Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.65% or 5.5 points to trade at 338.4 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 0.59% or 9.0 points to end at 1545.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.23% or 1.2 points to 515.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.55% or 4.8 points to trade at 183.7 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.46% or 460 points to end at 18240 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.00% or 395 points to 19325.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.13% or 0.10 to $77.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.12% or 0.10 to hit $80.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 8.55 to trade at $1861.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.5507, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4370.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 95.685.
