Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 0.99% or 2.4 points to trade at 245.2 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.85% or 0.34 points to end at 40.41 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.35% or 4.0 points to 1136.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.38% or 7.4 points to trade at 529.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.14% or 4.6 points to end at 397.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.01% or 110 points to 10730.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.85% or 0.34 to 40.41.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.94% or 0.62 to $65.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.41% or 0.99 to hit $69.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 12.60 to trade at $1339.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.0210, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4423.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 89.31.
