Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK), which rose 0.69% or 2.3 points to trade at 337.7 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (COP:GN) added 0.41% or 0.6 points to end at 146.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was up 0.27% or 1.0 points to 377.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which fell 1.68% or 7.6 points to trade at 444.0 at the close. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) declined 1.29% or 1.8 points to end at 138.2 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was down 1.25% or 7.5 points to 592.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 49 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.26% or 0.77 to $60.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.59% or 1.02 to hit $63.42 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.31% or 3.70 to trade at $1172.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.6721, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4596.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 95.64.
