Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.44% or 6.4 points to trade at 268.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 1.45% or 1.5 points to end at 104.7 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.38% or 12.6 points to 927.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.34% or 7.6 points to trade at 316.9 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.83% or 1.9 points to end at 102.2 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 1.82% or 4.1 points to 221.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 55 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.38% or 12.6 to 927.4.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.50% or 0.28 to $56.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.47% or 0.30 to hit $63.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.85 to trade at $1419.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.7153, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4678.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 97.780.
