Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 0.69% or 2.1 points to trade at 307.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.62% or 2.1 points to end at 338.4 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.03% or 0.1 points to 311.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 2.83% or 4.9 points to trade at 168.1 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.09% or 6.2 points to end at 290.6 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.94% or 4.00 points to 202.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 33 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.20% or 0.12 to $58.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.22% or 0.15 to hit $66.90 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 10.55 to trade at $1329.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.5945, while EUR/DKK fell 0.13% to 7.4646.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 96.007.
