Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 3.10% or 12.2 points to trade at 406.3 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.15% or 4.5 points to end at 395.3 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.52% or 4.0 points to 774.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 3.52% or 5.8 points to trade at 159.2 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 3.12% or 7.20 points to end at 223.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.48% or 2.5 points to 166.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 58 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.48% or 2.5 to 166.2.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.36% or 0.27 to $75.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.63% or 0.53 to hit $85.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.20 to trade at $1202.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.4730, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4563.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 95.38.
