Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.66% or 7.1 points to trade at 435.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.78% or 8.0 points to end at 1031.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.62% or 4.0 points to 649.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.65% or 5.1 points to trade at 303.2 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.60% or 170 points to end at 10470 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 1.17% or 5.8 points to 489.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 59 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.68% or 0.39 to $57.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.69% or 0.44 to hit $64.24 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.70 to trade at $1270.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.2670, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4446.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 92.88.
