Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 3.21% or 47.0 points to trade at 1510.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 3.34% or 3.4 points to end at 105.2 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 2.57% or 2.65 points to 105.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 3.35% or 23 points to trade at 674 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 3.37% or 16.5 points to end at 473.3 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 3.06% or 28.0 points to 886.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 60 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) rose to all time highs; rising 3.21% or 47.0 to 1510.5.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.70% or 0.35 to $50.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.14% or 0.61 to hit $54.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.44% or 28.10 to trade at $1926.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.10% to 6.0433, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4389.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 89.537.
