Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.78% or 16.2 points to trade at 598.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.51% or 5.4 points to end at 362.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.32% or 6.4 points to 492.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 4.09% or 18.70 points to trade at 438.80 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.66% or 6.2 points to end at 227.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.83% or 4.20 points to 225.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 59 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.32% or 6.4 to 492.4.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.41% or 0.21 to $51.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.25% or 0.15 to hit $60.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1226.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.5828, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4625.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 96.958.
