Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.49% or 6.10 points to trade at 179.60 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 2.57% or 31.50 points to end at 1,255.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 2.31% or 20.80 points to 920.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 4.03% or 32.40 points to trade at 772.00 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.71% or 18.50 points to end at 1,060.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.62% or 2.60 points to 155.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 48 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.03% or 32.40 to 772.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.87% or 0.68 to $77.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.29% or 0.23 to hit $80.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 23.90 to trade at $2,483.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.77, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 102.29.
