Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.60% or 320 points to trade at 12640 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.26% or 5.8 points to end at 464.9 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.26% or 12.5 points to 1004.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.46% or 11.1 points to trade at 309.7 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 2.09% or 28.5 points to end at 1338.0 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 2.07% or 53.0 points to 2508.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.18% or 0.11 to $60.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.52% or 0.33 to hit $63.68 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.27% or 22.85 to trade at $1776.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.64% to 6.1804, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 91.007.
