Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 1.63% or 6.6 points to trade at 412.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 1.55% or 11 points to end at 735 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.03% or 240 points to 23650 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 1.16% or 8.5 points to trade at 723.6 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.75% or 1.3 points to end at 171.6 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.42% or 11.0 points to 2598.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 76 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.03% or 240 to 23650.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.43% or 0.33 to $75.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.56% or 0.44 to hit $78.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 6.45 to trade at $1804.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.5524, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4354.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 95.903.
