Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.54% or 9.30 points to trade at 375.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.85% or 17.20 points to end at 946.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.22% or 2.30 points to 190.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.87% or 2.93 points to trade at 99.30 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.30% or 180.00 points to end at 13,660.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.03% or 145.00 points to 13,975.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.22% or 2.30 to 190.40.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.48% or 1.79 to $73.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.77% or 1.37 to hit $78.96 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 7.40 to trade at $2,057.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 101.94.
