Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.09% or 5.1 points to trade at 472.3 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 0.74% or 2.3 points to end at 311.5 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.62% or 2.7 points to 441.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 2.21% or 185 points to trade at 8200 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.10% or 188 points to end at 8760 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 2.08% or 3.8 points to 179.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to all time highs; rising 0.74% or 2.3 to 311.5.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.01% or 1.36 to $69.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.40% or 1.01 to hit $73.40 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.60 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.4165, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4525.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 94.80.
