Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.15% or 9.2 points to trade at 436.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.01% or 3.50 points to end at 350.50 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.79% or 2.8 points to 355.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.40% or 8.9 points to trade at 361.6 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 1.66% or 8.3 points to end at 490.7 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 1.59% or 3.2 points to 197.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 53 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.56% or 0.36 to $64.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.42% or 0.29 to hit $70.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 6.20 to trade at $1341.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.59% to 6.0696, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4492.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 90.14.
