Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 1.18% or 4.30 points to trade at 369.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.15% or 6.5 points to end at 571.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.05% or 2.6 points to 250.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 3.51% or 8.0 points to trade at 220.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 1.27% or 6.1 points to end at 473.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 0.88% or 100 points to 11200.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 53 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; rising 1.18% or 4.30 to 369.60.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.80% or 0.90 to $50.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.19% or 1.22 to hit $57.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.43 to trade at $1276.37 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.3555, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 93.72.
