Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 4.61% or 21.4 points to trade at 485.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.57% or 9.0 points to end at 359.1 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.50% or 13.5 points to 554.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 5.88% or 4.85 points to trade at 77.65 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.01% or 26.0 points to end at 1265.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.70% or 5.4 points to 312.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 59 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 4.61% or 21.4 to 485.2.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.25% or 0.13 to $52.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.14% or 0.08 to hit $58.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 8.31 to trade at $1270.69 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.06% to 6.3683, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.86% at 94.33.
