Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 4.10% or 430 points to trade at 10930 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.85% or 390 points to end at 10520 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 3.34% or 11.50 points to 355.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 4.10% or 14.2 points to trade at 332.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.77% or 7.8 points to end at 199.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 2.39% or 7.6 points to 310.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 55 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.86% or 1.08 to $56.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.83% or 1.16 to hit $62.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 11.19 to trade at $1283.71 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.2752, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4427.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.10.
