Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.01% or 7.8 points to trade at 396.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.91% or 12.2 points to end at 652.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.61% or 6.9 points to 434.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which fell 2.74% or 6.8 points to trade at 241.4 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 2.20% or 7.0 points to end at 311.1 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.55% or 142 points to 9020.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.20% or 7.0 to 311.1.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.69% or 1.22 to $73.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.99% or 1.62 to hit $83.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 8.80 to trade at $1196.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.4194, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4571.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.67.
