Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 2.58% or 4.75 points to trade at 188.60 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 2.54% or 3.20 points to end at 129.05 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.45% or 310.00 points to 12,940.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.50% or 5.80 points to trade at 382.00 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 0.86% or 17.00 points to end at 1,967.50 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.79% or 5.80 points to 726.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 52 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.01% or 1.47 to $74.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.73% or 1.36 to hit $79.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 4.45 to trade at $2,024.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 103.04.
