Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.72% or 3.1 points to trade at 183.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 0.66% or 2.3 points to end at 350.4 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 0.59% or 2.40 points to 406.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 2.78% or 225 points to trade at 7875 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.55% or 218 points to end at 8346 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.93% or 8.9 points to 453.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 60 to 54 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.63% or 0.43 to $67.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.27% or 0.20 to hit $72.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 8.50 to trade at $1222.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.3709, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.41.
