Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 2.65% or 23.00 points to trade at 892.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.97% or 2.00 points to end at 207.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.79% or 1.20 points to 152.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.18% or 5.30 points to trade at 161.20 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.48% or 15.50 points to end at 609.50 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.88% or 33.50 points to 1,745.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 62 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) rose to all time highs; up 2.65% or 23.00 to 892.50. Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.88% or 33.50 to 1,745.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.49% or 0.40 to $81.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.43% or 0.37 to hit $84.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.20 to trade at $2,338.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.10% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 105.53.
