Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 3.10% or 10.7 points to trade at 355.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.80% or 2.4 points to end at 304.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.76% or 3.5 points to 463.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.64% or 330 points to trade at 12150 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.94% or 230 points to end at 11650 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.64% or 4.10 points to 245.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 56 to 54 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 0.76% or 3.5 to 463.0.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.76% or 0.85 to $49.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.29% or 0.70 to hit $54.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.26 to trade at $1326.44 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.2619, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 92.47.
