Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 2.64% or 4.25 points to trade at 165.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.16% or 3.72 points to end at 175.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.84% or 8.90 points to 491.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.92% or 2.92 points to trade at 71.50 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.91% or 8.00 points to end at 266.70 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.64% or 6.40 points to 236.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 59 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 6.89% or 7.17 to $96.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 6.29% or 6.74 to hit $100.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.35 to trade at $1,732.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 7.39, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 107.71.
