Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 1.44% or 13.0 points to trade at 914.8 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 1.41% or 2.8 points to end at 197.8 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.18% or 3.8 points to 324.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.01% or 6.40 points to trade at 628.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.91% or 0.9 points to end at 103.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 0.77% or 2.0 points to 258.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 47 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.55% or 0.31 to $56.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.55% or 0.35 to hit $63.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 6.45 to trade at $1417.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.6964, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4672.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 97.493.
