Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 2.12% or 3.6 points to trade at 173.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 2.03% or 6.3 points to end at 317.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.61% or 4.8 points to 302.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 1.49% or 3.9 points to trade at 257.1 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.31% or 1.6 points to end at 124.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 1.23% or 3.8 points to 304.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 47 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.51% or 0.31 to $59.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.02% or 0.70 to hit $67.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 7.05 to trade at $1308.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.45% to 6.5677, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4619.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.77% at 95.938.
