Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.04% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.15% or 20.4 points to trade at 416.7 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.99% or 100 points to end at 10180 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.87% or 2.10 points to 243.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 1.50% or 5.4 points to trade at 355.1 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.39% or 10.5 points to end at 744.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 1.36% or 7.0 points to 509.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 51 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.61% or 0.34 to $55.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.43% or 0.27 to hit $61.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.18 to trade at $1277.72 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.3098, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
