Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 3.19% or 3.5 points to trade at 111.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.92% or 4.8 points to end at 171.2 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 1.84% or 51 points to 2817 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.78% or 5.6 points to trade at 715.1 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.67% or 7.5 points to end at 1111.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 0.58% or 3.0 points to 518.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.02% or 0.74 to $73.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.09% or 0.82 to hit $76.10 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 5.65 to trade at $1807.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.5739, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4358.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.140.
