Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.67% or 4.0 points to trade at 243.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.87% or 0.70 points to end at 81.15 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.78% or 2.60 points to 334.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 2.85% or 10.1 points to trade at 344.8 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.74% or 9.0 points to end at 508.0 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 1.17% or 17.0 points to 1438.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; rising 0.78% or 2.60 to 334.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.27% or 0.13 to $48.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.65% or 0.35 to hit $54.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.95 to trade at $1330.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.2212, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 91.93.
