Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.01% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 6.38% or 775.00 points to trade at 12,915.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 6.18% or 740.00 points to end at 12,720.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.15% or 3.70 points to 175.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.17% or 4.65 points to trade at 209.70 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.95% or 7.30 points to end at 367.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.16% or 4.30 points to 366.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 56 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.44% or 1.03 to $70.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.14% or 0.88 to hit $76.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.60 to trade at $2,074.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.75% at 101.78.
