Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.67% or 29.60 points to trade at 836.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.53% or 11.70 points to end at 778.10 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.01% or 5.40 points to 539.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 4.32% or 820.00 points to trade at 18,155.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 4.31% or 800.00 points to end at 17,740.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 4.05% or 26.80 points to 635.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 119 to 43 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 6.55% or 6.69 to $95.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 6.42% or 6.81 to hit $99.34 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.04% or 39.45 to trade at $1,894.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.93% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 101.84.
