Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.98% or 325 points to trade at 11225 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.78% or 290 points to end at 10710 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.19% or 7.30 points to 341.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 2.72% or 11.8 points to trade at 421.8 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.13% or 22.5 points to end at 1035.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 1.86% or 5.9 points to 311.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 32 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.65% or 0.40 to $62.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $68.03 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1320.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.1696, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4459.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 91.63.
