Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 5.69% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 8.33% or 70.70 points to trade at 919.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.93% or 21.50 points to end at 1,135.50 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.88% or 17.60 points to 956.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.54% or 5.80 points to trade at 370.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 0.47% or 5.00 points to end at 1,063.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 2,155.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 59 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; up 8.33% or 70.70 to 919.60.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.42% or 0.33 to $78.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.16% or 0.13 to hit $82.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 6.65 to trade at $2,164.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 102.86.
