Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 4.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 6.32% or 54.60 points to trade at 918.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 1.89% or 16.50 points to end at 889.50 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was up 1.35% or 5.70 points to 428.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.83% or 16.40 points to trade at 882.20 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.47% or 12.00 points to end at 801.60 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.18% or 21.50 points to 1,805.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 44 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.47% or 12.00 to 801.60.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.41% or 0.31 to $76.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.33% or 0.26 to hit $79.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 4.55 to trade at $2,467.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 102.89.
