Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 3.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 7.13% or 41.40 points to trade at 622.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 4.50% or 33.50 points to end at 778.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 3.58% or 9.20 points to 266.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which fell 2.65% or 10.80 points to trade at 397.00 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.65% or 4.80 points to end at 286.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 1.30% or 7.00 points to 532.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.12% or 0.09 to $74.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $78.39 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 19.05 to trade at $2,784.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.91% to 7.10, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 107.08.
