Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 3.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 7.97% or 195 points to trade at 2643 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 7.49% or 12.2 points to end at 175.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 4.27% or 5.2 points to 125.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 0.44% or 1.6 points to trade at 367.6 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 0.59% or 13.0 points to end at 2212.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.92% or 1.2 points to 132.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 120 to 39 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.95% or 3.77 to $91.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.64% or 3.51 to hit $92.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.96% or 18.00 to trade at $1851.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.5519, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4439.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 95.987.
