Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.86% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 4.06% or 540.00 points to trade at 13,840.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.01% or 545.00 points to end at 14,120.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 3.74% or 13.20 points to 365.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.73% or 1.80 points to trade at 102.20 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 0.15% or 0.25 points to end at 169.80 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.08% or 0.60 points to 770.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 48 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.12% or 1.54 to $71.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.04% or 1.60 to hit $76.65 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 9.75 to trade at $2,052.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.34% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 102.03.
